Polish president Lech Kaczynski was killed in a plane crash on April 10 2010, along with his wife. Officials say that there are no survivors after the plane crashed. They say that hte plane was trying to land in a heavy fog, and that was why it crashed. The crash occured around 10:50 a.m on the outskirts of the town of Pechorsk, just outside of Smolensk. Kaczynski has been president since December 2005.
